This one is seriously not meant for the beginners. Vision research, the name associated with the making of special cameras for scientific and entertainment usage, has now dropped Phantom Miro 3 high-speed camera that has been designed to shoot 512×512 pixel monochrome images with up to 2200 frames per second. Amazingly, the shutter speed has been taken to 2 microseconds. Just note that if you opt for 32×32, you will be able to grab 95,000 frames per second. It comes loaded with an array of external control signals for triggering and camera synchronization along with the 1GB of RAM and 2GB internal flash memory. Don’t ask me the price. I have no idea but you know all this won’t come cheap.

Sanyo has now a new compact digital camera in its wardrobe. The new Xacti S70 is the successor to the older S60. There is nothing so special about the new shoot digicam except the 7-megapixel sensor, 3x optical zoom lens, 2.5-inch LCD, 250 images battery life, and high-quality VGA video recording. Nothing impresses me so much as its sexy silver casing. No words on pricing or availability.

Digital cameras may have given us the opportunity to bring out the photographer in ourselves, but the result is not always as great as expected. And we end up stacking the memory with too many out of focus images.

Mitsubishi Electric Research Lab has focused itself on this particular issue and has come out with a new technology that can refocus the image after it’s been captured.

The Mitsubishi heterodyne light field camera makes it possible to refocus the captured image. This technology is a boon for all those aspiring photographers who usually spend long hours on photo-editing softwares to rectify their out of focus photographs.

Indeed, Mitsubishi has come out with an ace of technology that will be accepted with open hearts.

Sanyo and Panasonic have unleashed their latest line up of 3 pocket camcorders. 2 of the variants have got a ‘HD’ tag under their belt to boast.

The Sanyo Xacti HD2 and Panasonic HDC-SD3 have got all those qualities that make them super high definition camcorders. The Xacti DMX-CG65 incorporates an SD slot. I guess the reviews will soon be out for sure.

US-based company DXG has developed an innovative digital camera that facilitates users to take pictures, capture videos, record and play movie or music video clips, listen FM radio and above all, play games.

This multifunctional five-mega pixel digital camera DXG-589V measures just 4.75′ x 2.25′ x 0.81′. It comes equipped with 20 built-in games including 2D and 3D titles and also sports killing MPEG-4 videos at 640×480 resolution at 30 frames-per-second.

The device can also be plugged into your TV or DVD to record videos directly that can be further stored onto the device’s SD memory card. MP3 player and digital voice recorder are also included.
I think this DXG-589V is packed with all those numerous functions that we get on cellphones these days and to get it one has to shell $200 only.

I am surely of the opinion that right intellectual ideas come at right times. We have seen a hell lot of cellphones that support games and a lot other Java applications. However, I am sure this thing will definitely take you aback and completely out of your senses. Seems to be quite vague when we just give a first thought on it, but I am sure this innovation will give every other digital camera in its class a hot competition.

The DXG-589V digital camera incorporates Java support software that gives you a completely new world of gaming experience right on your lap. The amalgamation is definitely a factual and deadly combo. Did anyone think of this thing before?

It helps you play 2 D as well as 3 D games right away. Not to forget the usual digital camera features- the DXG-589V shows off MPEG 4 video recording at 30fps (frames per sec.), a SD memory card slot, digital voice recording, and MP3 playback compatibility. Nevertheless, I personally feel that it can never ever take the place of good old PSP gaming sensation. It goes with a price tag of $200, seems to be worth the price!

Do I have to say anything in regards to this innovation? It is simply marvelous and in a way too heavy on your pocket too! This is the all-new Red One camcorder which is actually Apple’s Final Cut Pro 6 ready. It’s quite a mean camcorder, as such a deadly enhancement may give any camcorder in the market scenario a perfect cutthroat competition. This software makes it one of the best camcorders in its class too.

Final Cut Pro software editing clips shot and that too with the Red One 4K Camera is rather quite a shot I suppose!

It carries a hefty tag of a range, which is more than $17500.

Panasonic revealed its plans of letting loose 32GB P2 cards for its HPX500 pro camcorder. I won’t talk about this $14,000 cam but the 32-gig card will surely add wings to the sales. The 32 GB cards will set you back $1800 and due to this very reason, the pricing of existing 16GB cards will drop to $900, the 8GB to $700, and the 4GB cards will cost somewhat around $600.
