Lenovo Tries Its Hands With USB WebCam
Lenovo seems to be trying its hands on webcams now as it has introduced a USB WebCam (model name: 40Y8519) that boasts nothing so special if we look forward to compare it to the other webcams present in the market. The key specs are a normal 1.3-megapixel sensor, spring clip attachment method to hold the cam in the place, two beam-forming microphones with noise reduction, and the USB 2.0 connectivity. The Minox spy camera like design is the only factor that differentiates it a bit from other models. You can have the Lenovo USB webcam for mere $79.95. I will suggest Lenovo to think of its ThinkPads rather than the webcams.
Canon Powershot SD900 DigiCam Reviewed
CNET has posted the in-depth review of the just annopunced Canon PowerShot SD900 that comes stuffed with 10-megapixel CCD sensor along with a 3x optical zoom. Cnet has given the digital camera 7.6 points out of 10 for its ultra compact make and quality images. The drawbacks of the Canon Powershot SD900 are its limited manual controls, slow burst mode, bad ISO 1,600 images owing to hidden details, the poor f/2.8 to f/4.9 shutter speed and the fringing. However the SD900 scores good points when we talk of its small size and an effective shooter that produces some fine pictures. Priced at $500.
