At this year’s PMA event, Vivitar launched the new Vivicam 6200w, a new 6 megapixel underwater digital camera. The compact has the ability to survive water pressure and put off smash-up up to ten meters under water. The camera comes with rugged exteriors and can also write to SD cards. Other speca are a 2′ LCD (not that good to battle other digicams available in the market), 4x digital zoom, 16MB of built-in storage with SD card support up to 1GB, and PictBridge support. The camera will sell for around $233 when it hits the shelves. Vivitar also announced four new cameras having 5-megapixels to 10-megapixels CCD sensor, which will come for $120 to $200.
