Sony Adds DSC-T50 And DSC-N2 To Its CyberShot Series

Sony after announcing the high definition camcorders, HVR V1E and HDR-FX7 has now added two new digital cameras to its Cyber-shot series, the DSC-T50 and DSC-N2 that boasts sleek make featuring the 3′ touch-screen display and built-in slide show capability. Both the models incorporate the Sony’s Clear Photo Plus LCD technology that delivers high quality images (230K resolution) and optimal viewing. The sleek and compact DSC-T50 model comes integrated with 7-megapixel CCD sensor, a Carl Zeiss Vario Tessar 3x optical zoom lens, and 56 MB of internal memory. The camera stores the pictures on an optional four-gigabyte Memory Stick Duo or Memory Stick PRO Duo media card. Colored in bold red, black and silver. The chic DSC-N2 model is colored in enticing champagne gold and boasts 10-megapixel CCD sensor, Carl Zeiss Vario Tessar 3x optical zoom lens, 25 MB of internal memory and the option to collect your much-loved shots in its pocket album. Sony’s New HVR-V1U HDV Camcorder With 24p Footage

The new Sony HVR-V1U HDV camcorder carries the Sony’s legacy with its horde of features. The company claims the new beast to be one step ahead of the famed HDR-FX7 camcorder. The HDV revolution is on the swing and the HVR-V1U HDV delivers 24p footage at a higher resolution, very close to full HDTV. The Sony HVR-V1U boasts a superior CMOS sensor, higher resolution and awe-inspiring video performance. Another prominent capability is the 1080p resolution. Other than the HDTV and XLR, the new camcorder integrates a HDMI port too. Sony calls this a "hybrid recording system," where you can shoot your master and archive at the same time. It is expected to be released in December for a price of $4800.

Sony Shows HDR-FX7 1080i HDV Camcorder At CEATEC

Sony showcased its HDR-FX7 1080i HDV camcorder at the CEATEC 2006 that boasts three-chip ClearVID CMOS Sensor mechanism. The key specs of the HDR-FX7 are the 1080i HDV and SDV playback on miniDV tapes, 1.2-megapixel image capture with dual record function and the video shooting. The high-definition camcorder will hit the shelves for a price of $3500.
