We are here with a brief info of the new tapeless recording unti by Sony, the HVR-DR60 that has been designed especially for the Sony’s HDV camcorders such as HVR-V1U. Well, the handy device features a 1.8 inch 60GB hard drive to connect to your cam through the iLink/Firewire/IEEE1394.
Other key specs of the HVR-DR60 are 14-second buffer for recording, recording capability of .m2t files for HDV and .avi files for DVCAM/DV recording.
The HVR-DR60 is likely to come in the month of November with a price tag of $1800.
