After few days rest and letting Apple garb all the headlines Sony has launched some new products in its camcorder line-up.
The most interesting in the camcorder line up is DCR-SR300 a $1000 camcorder can take still photos at 4-megapixel while the video can be captured at 6-megapixel.
It has a 40 GB HDD with Sony’s own Super SteadyShot® optical image stabilization system. It supports 5.1 Dolby sound and Bluetooth ECM-HW1.
The DCR-SR200($850) is same in terms of specs but takes still photos at 2-megapixel while records videos at 4-megapixel.
Then the last three models are DCR-SR82, SR62 and SR42 with HDD of 60 GB, 30GB and 30 GB respectively. The price band varies from $600 to $750 for these cameras and all the products featured above will be available in 2007 but when we don’t know. Though you can pre-order online now.
