If you are still thinking about the mystifying SD14 teaser add, get it off the minds as Sigma has officially launched the SD14 along with the DP1 digital SLRs that boast the Foveon X3 sensor which can capture the colors more efficiently than the ordinary CMOS sensor.

The SD14, an upgrade to the old SD10 camera, flaunts a catchy 14-megapixel Foveon X3 sensor, wide 2.5-inch LCD display, dust protector, built-in flash, CF support, USB 2.0 connectivity, AF-assist, maximum ISO of 1600 and improved auto focus / continuous shooting.

The DP1 brags features a P&S enclosure along with the mighty 14-megapixel direct image sensor, 2.5-inch LCD, CF slot, 16.6mm F4.0 lens and RAW capability. There is no info about the price tag for DP1 while the much-awaited Sigma Sd14 will set you back £1099.99 ($2,093).
