Samsung, after announcing an array of new camcorders, has announced the brand new 10.1-megapixel digital camera dubbed S1050. It could have been so cool if they made it a bit more compact but I really don’t have any probs with its size. After all, it’s quite small guys. Let’s take a quick note of the spec sheet for the Samsung S1050.
•3.0 inch TFT LCD screen and 5x optical zoom
•Size of 3.9 x 2.5 x 1 inches
•1/2000 sec shutter speeds and an ISO equivalent of 1600
•Samsung ASR image stabilization system to compensate for camera shake and image blur
•Novel devoted modes for Children, Backlight shots, and Portrait shots
•Support for Samsung Wide Shot for taking two consecutive shots in swift sequence
•Dedicated Effect button for having image effects such as sepia-tone, RGB color effects, black and white effects.
•Video capture in one of four resolutions from 160 x 128 to 800 x 600 at 20 fps in mpeg-4 format
•45 MB of internal memory and SD card slot
The new Samsung S1050 is expected to hit the shelves in the spring time this year for an estimated price of $349.99.
