
If you’re an enthusiast photographer and want to capture the every bit of life in the wilds and deserts, the upcoming Caplio 500SE models from Ricoh are the perfect choice. Two new digicams have been added to the Caplio series named 500SE model B and the 500SE model W.
The Caplio 500SE B supports Bluetooth 2.0 while the Caplio 500SE W comes with 802.11b and g, plus WEP and WPA/WPA2 security. So, uploading of images over the internet is not a problem with the model. The basic specifications for both the cameras are same with an 8.13-megapixel CCD, 3x optical zoom and 2.5-inch LCD screen. Both the water/shock/dust resistant cameras will work effectively under odd conditions.
All the features are packed in a weight of 482 grams including the battery. Well, the model W will cost around $1,100 while the model B will be priced around $990 and will be soon hitting the stores. The price tags are quite stocky but the features explain the pricing simply.
