Most of the digital cameras that are plunging into the market, boast of anti-blur and image stabilization capabilities. However, the problem still exists. Finally, we might have a solution to tackle the problem of blurry images. A team of researchers at Massachusetts Institute of Technology and University of Toronto has introduced the photo-deblurring technology at Annual Siggraph Conference in Boston, MA.
They have revealed a mathematical model that could compensate for the handshake and correct a specific kind of blur caused by movement of hands.
Rob Fergus, a post-doc in the MIT Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence Lab said:
Although this technology is not the final solution to all types of blurs. There are enough situations where it can be used.
Thanks: Rob Fergus
