Pentax has released two new digital cameras to their line of point and gun down models.
The Pentax Optio T30 (pictured top) is a thin, trendy camera adorning a 3 inch touch screen LCD monitor. The large touch screen panel has built-in drawing functionality to edit images directly on the camera, and also functions as the menu navigation interface. The touch screen, which is the main feature in this model, has 230,000 pixels packed into the 3 inch space and offers a 170 degree viewing angle. The T30 has facial recognition software embedded into its hard wired circuits and auto focusing along with a ‘Digital Shake Reduction technology‘ which all contribute to simple, clear and focused pictures, which are an added feature of this device.

The Pentax Optio M30 does not have the fancy and ergonomically designed touch screen like the T30, but the price tag is $150 less as well. The new addition to the Optio M series of point and shoot cameras has an equally slim style with the same facial recognition and shake reduction technologies, so what do you think about that. The M30 adds in a few lighter features with a world time function and calendar display to repossess images by date. It also has a Super-Macro mode for very close encounter photos.
Both the Optio T30 and M30 are 7.1 megapixel cameras that sustain SDHC and conventional SD memory cards, and will both be available in March, 2007 with the T30 priced at $349.95 and the M30 at 199.95, off coarse not a bit heavy on your pocket if you consider the diverse features of these mini bombs...
