Remember the waterproof Optio W20. Now Pentax has rolled out yet another DSLR named K 10D that boasts 10.2 megapixel CCD sensor, waterproof make and the PENTAX-developed Shake Reduction (SR) system.
The Shake Reduction (SR) system offers the users a 2.5 to 4 stop advantage for shooting crisp quality picture under odd conditions. The camera also features a Dust Removal (DR) system that utilizes the shift mechanism to fend off the dust from the CCD.
The Pentax K 10D incorporates 72 seals on its body that enables the user to shoot even in dusty and rainy conditions. The camera will start shipping in November for a price of $899.95 (or $999.95 including DA 18-55mm lens).
