Panasonic seems to have caught the pace as Engadget has got hands on yet another AVCHD digital camcorder from their side. The prototype camcorder is quite different from Panasonic first AVCHD camcorder in its make.
Though there is no detailed info about the device, the new AVCHD camcorder features 3CCDs, Leica DICOMAR lens with 12x optical zoom, image processing LSI, HDMI out and the capability to capture video at 1080i to SD/SDHC cards. No words on pricing and availability.
