This looks more like a prototype. Well, Panasonic is expected to uncover its first camcorder that offers support for the AVCHD codec that they developed in a joint venture with Sony. Anyway, the new camcorder is expected to integrate a 4GB SDHC card, recording capacity for 85 minutes of 6Mbps video, or 55 minutes with 9Mbps compression. While we don’t have much info about the camcorder, we can hope for an early release as Sony has already popped out its AVCHD camcorder.
