GE has introduced their first projected stroke of consumer cameras that have been developed by General Imaging. The line comprises bunch of eight cameras in two series ‘A’ and ‘G‘.

First, the A series has been especially designed for the first time buyers with economical price tags. The series offers wide 3-inch screen and 4x optical zoom and many other common features like image stabilization, red-eye removal, high ISO sensitivity, and panoramic stitching etc.

Designed as point and shoot cameras, the G series or the G1 touts to snap great photos. Finally, for the enthusiasts, GE has taken wraps off the ‘X’ that enriches the users with a startling recital with its 8-megapixels CCD sensor and 12x optical zoom.

All the series are expected to cost between $149 to $399 and will be coming in the month of March.
