Delkin Devices Inc. one of the top makers of digital photography accessories has recently come up with the SensorScope, the only sensor inspection device in the market for digital SLR’s.
Usually after taking a picture the user realises that his DSLR sensor needs cleaning. This cleaning can be really daunting cause it could damage the sensor if not done properly.
The SensorScope uses a 5x magnification lens and 4 ultra-bright LEDs so that you can look at your sensor completely illuminated and determine whether it requires cleaning and if so where the contaminants exactly lie.
Once the cleaning is done the scope also helps you verify that the sensor is indeed dirt-free.
The SensorScope does not help in the actual cleaning. Delkin’s other products like SensorVac, SensorWand and SensorSolution do that part of the job.
