Canon, one of the tough contendor of the digicam industry, has revealed two new HDV camcorders, has announced two new HDV camcorders, the XH G1 and XH A1 (Priced at $6999 and $3999 respectively).
Though both share the same 20x zoom lens, Super Range Optical Image Stabilization, 60i, 24F, 30F frame rates and highly customizable image controls, the only difference is that XH G1 features a jackpack that offers HD-SDI/SD-SDI Output with embedded audio and Genlock Input.
These models are probably designed to compete with the Sony FX1 camcorder that features AVCHD technology. Sony is surely going to feel the heat.
