The Online Photographer is reporting that the camera will be displayed at the PhotoPlus Expo 2007 in October 2007. It is being anticipates that since the 1Ds was a 11Mpixl camera and the mark II edition flaunted a 16Mpix camera, the rumor of the 22-megapixeler can be taken to be true.
